Educators as Obfuscators

Because of their specializations and singular focus (or is it foci?), most professions develop a jargon that in time defeats the very purpose for which it was formed—clear communication. In this brief article, the author deplores the gobbledygook that many educators now use, claiming that their messages are obscure and self-defeating.
